That's why I went NATO after I wore out the rubber on my Planet Ocean

it has to be the highest marked up item ever. No way it costs more than $1 or $2 for the < 1oz of material to make it.

I gotta say, they're pretty damn good. I don't own one, but I've seen one on a buddy's wrist and it looks like OEM rolex.

I actually bought an OEM omega rubber from Authentic watches with the oem tang buckle for a great friend of my father's who is like my uncle. He had worn out his and so I got it for him for Christmas, $600

yea they look good this is a user photo from their site:

but it really is just the rubber. You have to take the clasp off of your bracelet to use it on the rubber strap. i have a very hard time spending that much on quite literally a piece of rubber.

Yep. Ridiculously expensive, but loved the band.

I shudder to think what the rolex structured rubber bracelets cost. I'd bet somewhere around 5k or so

I bought an Everest leather strap for my old Datejust that I inherited from my dad (jubilee band shot) and couldn't get it to fit. Bummer

Ha that would be insane. Do you mean with a gold clasp included? For an AP RO it is about 1400 for an AP rubber bracelet with a ss folding clasp.

Rolex has the "structured" rubber strap which has a stainless steel core and two rubber flaps which keep the strap elevated off of the wrist for breathability.

Yes, I think the only rubber option rolex has is the oysterflex

They seem to be about 275/300 per rubber side. So yeah, 5k with the gold clasp seems about right.

Got this bad boy coming in tomorrow (yellow) and am wait listed forever for the green version that's only available in Germany.

Love the look of these pieces.

I didn't even ask about that one haha. I have a lot of blue and green already, and the yellow is so unique I had to have it

I'm just not into chronographs, but I love the big date version of that watch with the gray dial or blue dial.

I got the GO in this morning and I really like it. It's extremely well made, the movement is beautiful and the finish on the dial and case is perfect.

I also like the way GO does things, I got a watch roll, and a nice branded pen with my purchase. I know it is dumb that you pay what you pay for an expensive watch and are happy about the giveaways, but it is a nice touch.

It's completely different than any other watch I own, and that's saying something.

The only quibble I have is that the deployant clasp is overwhelmingly German overengineered. Instead of a little knob that you push through the hole in the strap there's a very small threaded screw that threads into a hole in the clasp. It's extremely small and very hard to access, and once you have it in, makes you not want to change it.

I've never had any issue with the clasp coming our of the band, but I am impressed by the machining if questioning the reasoning.

I bought a belt in Italy that has that same style and I actually have more problems with it than any of my other belts.

That looks awesome, very unique. Will go well with super casual clothes which is what I assume we all switched to during covid anyway.

And yeah that's Germany right there for you. Buddy has the pano date moon phase (which has an exquisite Lange like balance cock bridge finishing) and is has the same mechanism.

I hate to say it I have no clue and the manual didn't say much. Also not certain what the gauge does in the seconds counter that slowly fills either. Maybe a power reserve?

Edit: It's an hour counter.

"The 30-minute counter is positioned at 3 o'clock and the 12-hour counter is visible in the aperture at 12 o'clock."
