New around $7K. Similar used specimens go for $4000+. I'm around 3K for this one, but will jew negotiate. I paid substantially more in the same condition. I've probably worn it less than 30 total days since acquired.

The watch is perfect. Not a scratch or ding on it that I can see. The OEM Croc strap shows some wear as expected.

I have a brand new high-end repro bracelet and rubber strap that I'll throw in. Both have never been installed and in original packaging.

the Seiko 007 just got a price reduction on amazon if anyone is interested. from ~$235 to $176

The jubilee is a comfortable bracelet, but if you're just going to throw it on a Nato or Super Oyster, you cannot pass this up.

I guess it got all snapped up? the seller was "MOON-DOG Japan". they had a 100% rating. I got one. Since it was going through amazon anyway, I'm covered. they've always been great.

we'll see if they cancel out the order as a price mistake or something.

It should be in later today and I'll let you know what I think. Seems to be a HELLUVA watch for only $360.

That's what they refer to the color of the bezel; the traditional split bezel colors were Black and Red (called Coke bezel) and red and blue (called Pepsi Bezel). The Rolex BLNR uses the black and blue and it's referred to as the "batman"

Dunno. The 007 is so simple that it's amazing. There's something about that watch.

The PADI has the "turtle" shaped case; along with the sunburst dial and is 45mm. The bracelet is a little higher quality and shinier as well. The sunburst dial is absolutely beautiful, and the extra 3mm of size make a big difference on my really large wrist.

so that's what that's called; "turtle shaped". now I have a word for the case shape I don't like. opinions differ, of course.

I'm far from an expert, but I looked at that one in the past and learned enough to determine that it wasn't bad, but is a lesser watch.
