Bought a couple of expensive toys (cars) in the last few months, so I need to get rid of some of other toys to stay in the good graces of my wife.

Hal Martin's is cutting me a good deal to consign it. It will be there if you want to look at it

Brace yourselves, though - these have absolutely skyrocketed in price over the last 12 months

Seiko Astron might be a choice in the $2K range.

I still love my Citizen Shyhawk A-T for the $200 range. Set it and forget it. I also like the digital band for using at my kids' swim meets and for setting a secondary time when I travel.

Wow. Rolex GMT IIc prices have gone crazy too. I bought one new in box 5 or 6 years ago for $6,500. Traded it off for a Deepsea a couple years later. The 40m with black bezel was just a tad too small for me.

Wish I would have held onto it.
