No trouble in getting pcl's removed if that's your preference. I did that on my blnr.

All this talk of cheap seikos convinced me to buy another watch I don't need.
Yes - oldest to newest - Z (early 2006), M (late 2006), G (2009ish).
I'd have no problem buying the cheaper of the three. There should be no variation in those three models other than the oldest may need servicing sooner than the G serial.
These white EXPII's can be had for less than $4k if you watch the forums pretty closely. Those, though, are going to be roughly 10-15 year old watches.

I've never worn a watch on a NATO strap, but I'm digging it. Very comfortable. He threw in an extra tan strap as well.
