what time of the day are the weddings? you cant wear a light color suit to an evening wedding.
2 during the day, 1 at sunset, but it's on the beach in the DR, so I'm cool.

how much do you weight? if less than 250lbs dont buy jos a banks.
Do they make good B&T suits? Or, do you ask because fattys don't need good suits? Just curious, as I'm nowhere near that weight class.

rl purple label and tom ford.
Those start at little under $2k, and are way out of my (and 98% of the general public's) price range.

every suit in a store under $500 (unless its on a major sale) will be made of bad fabric and most likely have a very bad cut.
I have 2 nice suits that I had hand-tailored, with good fabrics, when I was in Singapore. I really don't feel they're THAT much better than my off the racks from JosABank or Dillards. I might feel differently if I had a job where I wore a suit to work everyday. But that's not the case, and it likely won't be for a very long time. I am entirely too middle-class (in my behavior and my tastes), no matter much $ I'm making now.

dont get anything less than super 120s wool. 100% wool or wool blend with silk is ok.
besides the lighter colors, isn't the point of a summer suit to be of a more breathable fabric than wool?

i missed the part where you said seersucker. are you trolling????
Since you are obviously accustomed to the trappings of a fancy-pants, high-dollar suit lifestyle, have you ever been to a social function in the South, east of the Sabine? Seersucker is socially accepted in the deep south, and it's pretty much mandatory you own one if you're a white dude of any means in SC, GA, MS, LA, AL, etc. My wife is from NOLA,and she eats that **** up. I personally don't get it, but in the grand scale of "little things I can do to make the wife happy," buying a seersucker is low-hanging fruit.
