As it stands today, this is a weaker line-up than last year. Hoping the additions fill it out a little better.
Weakest lineup yet. Weezer as headliner is a let down. Excited for the Black Angels at least.
Black Angels, Cut Copy, Sharon Jones, Girls, and Wild Mocassins make FPSF worth the price of admission for me.

Apparently one of the names TBA is a headliner. As it stands, I think this lineup is all around better than the first 2 years but weaker at the top. And I hope Weezer is playing Blue/Pinkerton and not fooling around.

Bob Seger at Toyota Center on Saturday, April 30.
Steve Miller Band put on a great 120 minute show at HOB Houston this past weekend. Packed house (too packed) as expected...I wonder at what point the Fire Marshall will make it to HOB on a big show and shut the evening down. It seems for the bigger shows, they sell 100 to 500 tickets above and beyond capacity...this does not make fun trips to the bathroom or bar during the show.

I'll go ahead and grab the PIT tickets. If I think it's too close I am sure I can sneak backwards and find a seat.

i dont imagine Arcade will have a rowdy mosh pit, so you should be able to stand and be up close to the show. Being tall, the PIT is always a good up close view for me.
Chances are most people in the seats will be standing for the most part anyways, so might as well get the closer ones.

You shouldn't be allowed to go if you think being too close to the stage is a bad thing.
