Full concert tour.
I'd imagine it'll be like it was when Jimmy Buffett played there a few years ago.

Stage was set up in the right/center field facing home plate. Seats all over a tarp on the field.

I'd guess it was like Madonna's show a few years ago. Therefore, I'll assume it'll suck.

Interesting configurations. I wonder who booked it for her. Seems like a horrible concert venue. Why not play Toyota center? Is the capacity that much bigger?

What sucks is that the floor and the entire 100 level are $106.77 a ticket (including all fees). Damn! That's a lot of dough for a show!

Rusko coming to Warehouse Live on May 7th. Judging from the showing at Stereo last year for his set, this should be pretty huge.

Both Texas dates for A Perfect Circle are basically sold out. Wife and I waited a little too long to decide to take a weekend trip to San Antonio. Here's to hoping they add a date between Atlanta and San Antonio.

seems like local stuff for now.. but maybe they'll get some bigger acts like scout bar.. looks like a cool place... although facebook page seems like a lot of DJ/hip hop stuff..

Stereo Live is the old Bar Rio on Richmond near Hillcroft. When big DJs come through they go there if they are not playing Rich's. They have an EDM thing every Sunday on their patio during the warmer months with local DJs but they get more than local acts. Afrojack played there last week and during the last 1.5 years I've seen David Guetta, Axwell, Benny Benassi and other international acts there. But I don't know what they draw outside of EDM.

Warning - their AC either sucks or doesn't work and it gets hot as balls in there. If it's a full show, spring for a table or at least the extra $10 to get upstairs so there is more space to spread out away from the giant mass on the main floor.

Saw today Ghostland playing 2 nights @ Warehouse 10/27 & 10/28

Wow. That was absolutely one of the best shows of my life.

I left Pearland at 6:10, took 45N to 610E, to Hardy and I was parked and in the venue by 7:15. I hit ZERO traffic.

Shamillion - All teenage girl band from Austin. One of the girls is in the "Tale From The Suburbs" short film that Spike Jonze directed. They were fun to watch. Very raw and young of course. "Ummm. So I guess I'll introduce the band now?" They put on a good show.

Explosions In The Sky - I have listened to their albums and they are great but so far I have found them repeatative and I hardly ever have a desire to hear them. Live? They were amazing. I'd give my left nut to play guitar like that. Live the music has so much more emotion as you watch the guys really get into it.

Arcade Fire - Holy S they were great. They sounded great and the energy was insane. Win didn't hate on Houston at all. Talked about how he used to work as a ticket taker at the venue. At one point he said "When I used to work here it was the informal policy that once the main act started I stopped checking tickets." At which point the aisle closest to me was filled with people trying to get into the pit. Security held them off and Win said "Maybe the policy changed.... persistance!"

I was in the pit, dead center about 4-5 people deep. I don't think I've screamed along with every song that loud and clapped that hard in a long time. The set list was a great mix of all the albums.

About halfway through their set a pair of 60+ year old made their way up next to me. It was funny because they were by far the oldest people in the pit. Then I saw their gigantic passes and realized it was the Butlers!

Hands down one of the best shows I've seen ever. Spectacular!

The concert was amazing. We were just a few rows behind you Jim, Explosions in the Sky were absolutely amazing and Arcade Fire were as well. Wife and I had a blast!!

Arcade fire put on a great show. I was up in the box seats watching people try to rush the pit. It was pretty entertaining watching ushers and security try (and largely fail) to control the situation.

Explosions in the sky were also solid, but I missed the other opener.

"Haiti" was the highlight of the show. Even better than "Wake Up" during the encore. Just great.

snap, the Eels are playing at Warehouse Studio in July? thats a blast from the past.
