No plans to do radio full-time anytime soon, PUMPED to be covering the Texans home in Houston and dominating the digital, but it's going to be awesome to play on an elite team like this for a legendary PD like Cat. Really excited. Won't disappoint.
Who was talking to who? I am shocked the ticket had this convo on the air, not. The college football knowledge in terms of history and overall knowledge of today is embarrassing considering it is a sports station.DannyDuberstein said:
Tshirt OU fan talking with tshirt tu fan about disliking SEC fans, and how the conference was nothing without Saban. What a compelling segment. Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee, among others, would disagree.
Corby's lack of perspective on college football is par the course. He and Junior live in this bubble where OU has been the premier program and everyone else has always sucked no matter who they are.DannyDuberstein said:
Corby and Bro Matt McClearin, which are possibly thr most insufferable CFB Talk duo that has ever been put together
Those two and Junior are like most people regardless of age; they pretend college football didn't exist prior to 2000 for some reason. It is difficult to talk to people like that. Then there is George who hasn't watched much college football since the SWC broke up. Weird dichotomy on that station regarding college football.DannyDuberstein said:
And MM agreed with him.
They both anchored in Auburn being left out in 2004 as the reason the SEC was nothing before Saban, which is odd on its own since Saban won the title at LSU the year before. But so did UT few years before that and Florida a few years before that and Bama a few years before that.
For me I want to hear if they actually have anything new to say. It is 2024, access to info is everywhere. I get it, a tiger doesnt change his stripes but I guess I am interested to see if there is a new take because one of them took the time away from cycling on brokeback mountain or eating gummies at a concert to get some new facts. Junior did a 180 on Deion which is unexpected so it is possible. Some Junkie Cosmonaut said:
I'm going to ask the obvious (dumb) question. You know what you're going to get from the ticket regarding football talk. It's eye-rollingly laughable outside of Sturm. Why listen?

What do they mean when they say "This is non disclosure!" on the morning show?
