I think that the Dumb Zone is just filler until the non-compete issues are gone and they can go the Freak. What was it for everyone else, six months?

And people keep bringing up abandoning relationships at the Ticket but I would think that Dan is closer to most of the ex-Ticket Freak guys than the remaining guys at the Ticket, with the exception of Bob.

Assuming the announcement today is about a new midday lineup, is there anything they could put together that y'all would actually be excited about?

I feel like that whatever it is will be met with a 'meh' at best.

I can see giving Donny and McClearin a shot. No Sirois but this McClearin dude seems to at least have lived an interesting life and should have some stories, and Donny is pretty good at gelling with anyone. But 1-3? **** no. That's not even a decent weekend show. That is literally a dry dock show that should never be a show

I'm actually excited about Donnie & Matt.

I'm gonna give Hardline 6.0 a shot too but hopes aren't high.

And since they announced Monty as the Producer from 1-3pm, I would assume that puts Blake as the Hardline 5.0 producer.

I think Donnie and Matt may actually be good. Just from listening for a few minutes today, it seems like Matt may actually have something.

When Craig was congratulating everyone and saying that they were talented and everyone "has something" I wanted someone to ask what that something was for Sean and Mino.

I just remember Matt and JJT's show on the weekend/fill-in. I always remember listening and enjoying Matt but hating everything about JJT.

Really glad Matt is back as it's kind of new blood and he has a great radio voice as opposed to Mino and Sean.

If played correctly, it wouldn't shock me if they are the heir apparent to the Musers.

Btw, with Norm's retirement timing syncing with the end of June, I do wonder if his contract cycle sync'd with Dan and Jake's and an unspoken factor was that he wasn't happy with his renewal either. He said he wasn't even thinking about retirement until a few months before he did it, which makes you think a less than appetizing offer kicked it off. His last day sync'd exactly with their last contract day.
