Tressel only brought up the fact that they have about 36 athletic programs because Norm asked him about his preference for non-conference scheduling. Tressel said they need to have home games so they can help fund all of their athletic programs. And to help make his point, he compared them to Texas to show how many more they have than another big name school.

I heard Tressel say he bet texas had less than 20...the man didn't come across as conceited at all...he was quite frank about the demands on his program to make money and how that influenced some decisions.
