Mike just read Whitt's column verbatim and did not dispute anything about it. I took that to mean that the column is accurate... Greggo had a relapse of some kind and is recovering. The reason they've been so mum on the issue was because Greggo hadnt said anything to the press and wanted to let him explain it when the time came

Yeah, basically Rhyner was just trying to get the news out as it was reported by Richie Witt's column. He was trying to stress that Hammer released the info to the press and not the Ticket or any of the ticket personnel.

Corby mentioned slurring words, berating fans, walking off stage.

Mike repeated them saying "OK, so we had slurring words, berating fans, walking off stage?"

I wonder if he was referring to Greggo? Maybe the day he disappeared he left in anger and wasn't asked to leave?

I agree about the odd undertones. It's just hard to determine if they are making good natured, inside jokes to one another about Greggo or if they are bitter, inside jokes about Greggo.

I'd be a little bitter and maybe feeling letdown.

Who knows what goes on behind closed doors though.

I would imagine that they are a little bitter to say the least.

After all he was a co-host of the station's signature radio show and he bolts because he couldnt help himself.

I don't consider the hardline the signature show. In radio Morning Drive is the holy grail and you bank on that. All the big syndicated names like Stern, Imus, Opie, and even yes...Kraddick are morning drive.

I am starting to like where KScott is fitting in here. It's obvious Danny has hated Greggo for a long time and it came off as bitter (which was a great subplot as greggo acted oblivious to it). I think Danny likes KScott a bit more. I love his wild non-sequitors that he's throwing out there sort of like the sportsy rant type stuff.

He's a downgrade perhaps in WTDS and ENews and CQH, but his sportsy side is a massive upgrade. I'm ready to at least let KScott take over for awhile and see if he can stick and then perhaps bring in someone else.

No question Greggo gets another job somewhere. Lets hope he picks up his life. I think the whole thing started for his back pain, which I know can really be teh suck. I feel for the guy. Drugs suck and I think he got hooked on drugs for a real reason, not to just be some club kid hopped up on coke for the hell of it. He had a real issue and got carried away. This isn't some meth addict and someone will see that I hope.

where does that come from? i listen everyday and have never sensed that. danny is the black cloud for a reason, he acts like he hates everyone!

This is coming from listening to the orphanage. He takes pretty big shots at greggo on there. (well, used to) I realize like 10 people listen to that show so it doesn't count.

During the show he dismisses much of what Greggo says and shows much more respect for Rhynes.

I would say that has nothing to do for any supposed hatred for Greggo and everything to do with the fact that Greggo has no idea what the hell he is talking about...ever.

Greggo has had a big bag of nothing for a while, and honestly he was annoying. He's actually better now that he has grubes workign his voice.

Ksctt and corby are starting to annoy me.

I think they reiterated Greggo's return as "uncertain".

Corby and Rhynes as "co-hosts" is annoying.

I imagine Greggo waking up everyday, walking over to his closet which is meticulously ordered by season, size, then color, getting dressed, having 3 egg-whites for breakfast, brushing his teeth, cleaning his dishes, taking Clyde for a walk, sitting down at his table with a Morning News, a Star-Telegram and reading them while listening to Kanye's "Stronger" on repeat for 8 hours.

speaking of saturday shows, did any of you ever listen to the Rant, the Saturday morning show with Corby and Gordo? I honestly thought that was the best show on the entire Ticket.
