NHL #8? NHL is probably top 3 for Bob, maybe top 2
If it was a big playoff game or championship game I think that would shift to this list:Legal Custodian said:I would rank them by what regular season games would he watch live if they all played at once:ChipFTAC01 said:
I would be interested to see Bob ranking his sports fandooms/interests. Especially since he has loyalty to both the Wisconsin teams and Dallas teams.
I can see something like:
1. Packers
2. NFL as a whole
3. Liverpool
4. Cfb
4. Bucks
5. Epl as a whole
6. Mavericks
7. Cowboys
8. Nhl
9.
1. Packers
2. Bucks
3. Other NFL Teams
4. Liverpool
5. F1
6. Big CFB Game
7. Stars
8. Mavericks
9. Big Soccer Match

Yeah, no idea. I haven't listened to the actual ticket in probably over a decade and haven't even listened to ticket podcasts in 3-4 years. This thread is my only connection to the ticket anymore.

Jub seems to be getting a lot of love on Twitter for his 8:15 segment. Anyone care to paraphrase what he covered?
Jub got emotional and almost cried a couple times, but it's hard to find fault in his sentiment. Only thing I'd say is that the silent majority of people are going on with their lives without getting bogged down in politics/social media/arguing (I hope). Things aren't quite as doom and gloom as he made them out to be. Still, good stuff.Hincemm said:beagle2009 said:

He basically said that he thinks everyone should be nice 5x in the next week. No politics. No grandstanding. Just be nice. It was a good seggy

My wife and I were just talking about this. We watched the evening news recently for the first time in forever. If you watch the news or consume Twitter nonstop, you'd think the world was ending. But then you go out and interact in the world, and things seem pretty calm and reasonable, and people respectfully go about their business. History may judge social media as mankind's worst creation.

If I refrain from making fun of Gil for the next 7 days does that count as one of my 5 "be nice" moments?
Well most of my interactions for the last 18 months with any humans are through full PPE in an ICU with someone who is dying. I haven't had any quality of life with my family in that entire time. And now all the hospitals are full up again.Spaceship said:

Honoring George's request, I'm just going to keep being nice.

Jub's the loveable uncle at the Thanksgiving who's heard some stuff about things, but doesnt really have a good grasp on it all.
I think this is going on with the "schedule alliance" talk and it's being driven by television. I think it's the precursor to a Big 8/SWC style merger where some teams get left out. 4 P12 teams will join the B10 and maybe Notre Dame.WC87 said:
USC, UCLA, Oregon, and UW should be knocking on the B1G door begging for admittance. Maybe Stanford and Arizona too.
Otherwise they die on the vine.
And I get the B1G places 'emphasis' on academics. So just take USC and UCLA, Iowa State and Kansas.
I enjoyed his first fatherhood segment, especially the part where he discovered that darkness, quiet, and a white noise machine helped keep the baby asleep. Who knew?!Just Tired said:

As someone whose wife brought the white noise machine into the house, I can confirm that it's borderline hypnotic/addictive.
