Bob on twitter getting outraged by Dave Portnoy, from an interview that was probably 5+ years ago. You can think Portnoy isn't funny or entertaining, he's probably the person I dislike the most at Barstool for those reasons...but you can't get outraged over something that is clearly said as a joke.

Love Bob to death. Getting very burnt out on the newfound righteousness on Twitter schtick the past year or so though.

The Monty + Jake combo has grown on me the past few days.

This. Media personalities just can't seem to resist taking political/social stances. If they would just avoid it, they'd receive such less blowback.

Just unfollow. I liked Clay Travis' SEC takes about 10 years ago and then he went off the deep end and just became a blowhard, ala Skip Bayless, stopped following the guy.

I'm not intending this as "blowback" to him, he can believe whatever he wants and I think he has always been the person he has shown more on twitter the last year. I do think there is a difference between standing up for what you believe in on a racial issue and getting upset over something an entertainer said as a joke.

Especially considering he worked with Dan for over a decade, and with Corby and just about every other Ticket host, who have all have similar levels of bad taste jokes in their closets.

It's a bit hypocrtical to get mad at this joke, but not take the same stance against your coworkers. Which I think is what ends up rubbing people the wrong way.

Bob is still my leader.

I don't see why they can't just ignore political crap like they ignored it for 25 years.

And yeah, no one at the Ticket should be lecturing anyone about any of this. The station was built on tastelessness

it was 3 tweets about portnoy (kinda). i don't agree with a lot of bob's stances on politics the past couple of years, but this seems relatively benign.

If you're a baseball fan above 40 you ABSOLUTELY watched Field of Dreams. Likely more than once.

What MLB did with this is amazing.

Apparently not these two knuckleheads until this game got them to. Baseball has always seemed like a clear 4th for Bob though, so as hard core as he is, it's definitely down the chain
