There was a storm on Monday last week that dumped 10" in parts of Frisco/Prosper. Then in Mckinney areas got 0. Really localized heavy rain if you get lucky you get real lucky.

That seems off. Of course you're on the west side of DNT so maybe different.

Went and pulled the actual data. Took one of my neighbors at their word. Looks like it was actually 10.5".

Weird. That 3/4 shows about 3" on that station. Just about 2" on the 9/10

Still great though.

We've been in Colorado since that happened. I'm sure my sprinklers are still hitting it hard. Will have a jungle of stuff when we're back.

Amazing how consistently Northern Collin and the Red River counties have been getting storms lately. Probably about to dry up for all of us soon, thankful for what we've gotten farther south.

I took a look yesterday after our rain. It was a very narrow band from Prosper trail / DNT southeast to roughly eldorado and hill crest that caught the heaviest stuff.

Neighbors rain gauge is roughly havenbrook and ridgecross.

Each summer I just assume the high pressure will park over us the entirety of June July August, and we will be triple digits with no rain. Anything other than that is a welcome surprise.
