Several sites were predicting the high pressure system that was causing the heat in June was going to collapse/move and cooler air behind it was going to come in. They were right for a change. I never thought I'd look forward to 90s but I will this week and probably this month.

Looked at the temps last July and they were more like June.

I'm 3 miles north of Addison Circle. Got massive cloud to cloud lightning overhead and the sound of fireworks to the south. Shocked they didn't cancel

Sitting here in the backyard with the dogs in Lower Greenville, and feels like temperature just dropped 10 degrees or so. Humidity is way down too, with a nice wind from the north.

I almost feel like I should light the fire pit.

In aledo, been watching everything roll to the north or south of us for the past 4-6 weeks. Have gotten barely anything despite it being a fairly wet early summer for most of DFW.
