Think they are about to redevelop that entire corner. Saw what I thought was an appraiser taking pictures of the building outside last weekGarlandAg2012 said:

I literally just overheard one of my employees talking about ranch waters. I don't know what that is but he said it started in Austin and he's surprised that folks up here know what it is.
Really makes you think.

Many people have been drinking some iteration of Tequila/soda or Tequila/Topo.
It's only until the Instagram soccer Moms discovered them and made them popular with their new names have they hit the Mainstream. They've been around forever

Noticed the other day that he did the menu for the really high-end senior living skyscraper on 75. So, I guess that's the kind of stuff he's going to do full time now.FTAco07 said:
Flora Street Cafe and Fauna are now closed. Also big news that Stephan Pyles is retiring from the restaurant business and will focus on "hospitality consulting". I only went to Flora Street once in its first iteration and it was very good, but not a sustainable concept.
Pyles has always been a great chef, but having had some experience with him in business dealing's I've never thought he was much of a business person.

If I'm not mistaken he also did consulting for the Brazos restaurant inside of the new Texas A&M Hotel.
Duck, was this one of the breweries you were referring to?duck79 said:
A lot of breweries were waiting for the beer to go law to change with the hope that it will increase revenue. While it will bring in extra revenue, I think many will be surprised by how little. We fall under wine laws and have been able to sell to go and it is less than 1% of our sales. Who closes also depends on how many are still paying for their equipment. Sadly I think you will see a few close in the next 6-8 months including one prominent one.
Just tell me Peticolas, Community, and Turning Point are in the clear, and I'll be a happy dude.duck79 said:
No that isn't the one I was referring to. I probably shouldn't have even mentioned that being that I am in that industry, my apologies
