just walked the dogs and in the span of 2 blocks the winds went from barely anything to howling and whipping and the temp dropped 10 degrees.

Electricity is out here. Seems it could be until 9:30 before it comes back on. Storm sure hit hard. It is letting up but my dog & kid are still terrified.

Now it seems we won't get power until midnight. Have the front & back door opened, screen doors shut so there is a nice breeze. Husband & oldest kid are asleep on the living room floor. Baby's room is ok for now.

So it's just me, the dog, & a bottle of wine.

Everyone's power is out except for the rich dead guy's place across the road.

Crap...this is Aries.

Bigger crap....now oncor is saying no power until 2am.

Well kids are asleep & seem fine. I thought about going to a hotel but could be more of a pain at this point.

The dog & I have moved outside & have spotted some deer...but also checked the rain gauge...2.5 inches since 6pm.

The lightning was pretty crazy in Parker County yesterday. My wife was leaving our property and the gate wouldn't open... so, I let her out and then my dumbass stuck around trying to work on the gate opener in the middle of the rain. Lightning strike easily within a mile of where I was working had me high tail it the hell out of there.

yeah i'm not sure how much we got in east Dallas. It's a little wet this morning but not that bad and I never heard anything.

Less than a tenth (.08) of an inch Lewisville. A little wind and thunder, but nothing severe.

And here I was counting on the rain, but now it looks like there's only a 20% chance today.

Yep. And yesterday was one of my two allowed days per week to water, which of course I skipped due to forecasts of two days of widespread rain.

Skipped watering as well. Went for a run here in Rockwall this morning and the concrete wasn't even wet.

Sucks for those that got severe weather but we really could have used the rain.

Checked the weather before driving from work (Plano) to home (Allen). 10% chance at 5pm. Stopped at the grocery store in Allen and the rain dumped hard for about 10 minutes.
