Now driving to Burleson was a different story. It was awful more than half the drive. Crazy how much rain it was.

Yikes. For most of us, this a perfect rain - steady without any extracurricular activities like high winds and/or hail. For you, you, I would imagine today has not gone well...


The dome has held out fairly well yesterday and this morning. Still going to be too wet until next week. FML. My life is mud.
I built a house in 2004. That was the 2nd highest rainfall total in 100 years. I think we just passed it. I feel your pain.
Then the weekend we moved out 12 years later, it rained non-stop for 3-4 days.
That house was cursed.
May want to reconsider.

I had to bust out the DR trimmer and knock down the back a bit where the tree crew is going to be working to take down some live oaks and a cedar that are dead or dying.

Last year at this time I could have walked around and crunched it all down with my feet.

I've started my regular watering. In August. I've never pushed it out so far. We will get some rain in September as that's when football starts....lol.
