It's because the concrete in Kyle Field and those awful west campus buildings gets hot, causing the air to rise quickly and it's splitting the clouds at Wellborn and George Bush and causing those of us in south CS to stay dry.

It's just science.

Mine is green as can be and already had to mow. All that with only 1.3" of rain total. Fertilizer and some rain does wonders.

Good grief. Look at the Dome throwing the force field up along the Brazos earlier today on the KBTX radar loop.

Looks like some light rain made it across but then a strong cell approached from the west and gets the talk-to-the-hand from the Dome.

The Dome is putting up a valiant struggle.

That said, last night KBTX said it would be raining from sunrise on. Blew that forecast by a mile.
