F-16's but with the later kick-off, they may not be able to do the fly-over in the dark. Last I heard, they were still waiting for authorization.

Anybody know why Don Adam's G-V, heretofore known as "N5DA", is now showing up on Flightaware as "ELJ5", which is registered to "Delta Air Elite Business Jets", which I presume is some sort of leasing or fractional ownership outfit?

Did he do some sort of sale / lease-back deal? Perhaps he finally realized that keeping a G-V parked in a hanger 29 days out of the month wasn't very cost effective.

Does (did) DAEBJ have any G-V's?
Knowing DA, he might have picked up one cheap if they had an extra for sale/lease/LBB.

Spirit plays at K - 0:20, which would be 1840;
NA plays at K - 0:12, or 1848

Pulled this up for 20 November:
Sunset: 1726
Twilight: 1751
Twilight Nautical: 1821

So, it will be a tad dark out at 1848. Right at astronomical twilight of 1849.

A dark flyover might be awesome though with afterburners.

Looks like there are at least 2 F-16D variants...tail markings show they are 149th Fighter Wing......Texas Air National Guard planes from Lackland.

Going to the game? The pre-game fly-over by F-16s will take place at 4:55 p.m. on Saturday, at the same time as the football team�s arrival for Spirit Walk at Joe Routt Blvd. and Houston Street. The time change from the usual spot, which is during the National Anthem prior to kickoff, is likely due to the fact that the sun sets at 5:26 on Saturday.

That's probably it - he's likely farming it out to help defray the costs of ownership. Besides, he seems to fly the Lear a lot more - rough life!

Strictly speaking, no you can't. However, if you ask nicely most pilots are more than happy to let you walk out and take a picture or two. You just can't wander around on your own.

There's a concrete bench on the right side of the GA terminal that's on the other side of the gate from the parking lot that's about as close to the action as you can get on your own. Great place to eat lunch and enjoy being outside for an hour or two on Fridays!

I took this pic around 1988 at Easterwood. Found her in a hangar one day while I was wandering around. I think the hangar is currently in use by Texas Task Force 1.




I guess this was some variation of an AD-5?
