Where did you find this 'cause it would be awesome if true? Though I think that address means that it would be at the corner of University and Texas?
College Station Development website, the actual location is rumored to be next to the City Bank.

Discount Tire is about to build a new location in Bryan near the intersection of North Earl Rudder Freeway and Towne Centre Way.
Any idea what is going up next to the Dirty Sock?

Tony Romas could close and no one would miss it. So-so food and mega $$ for what you get. Service was also so-so. Tried it a couple of times and no improvement from opening time until now.

Disagree. I don't go by there often, but every time I do the parking lot is packed. Went by there yesterday around 6 and it was full. They're making money hand over fist.
I recall the new Cotton Patch out there when it opened and no one figured it would do well. It's still going strong and makes more money than the College Station location.

Texas Store is moving to downtown Bryan, can't remember exactly where...lady in there told me but it was a while ago. I think they're out by the end of today(June)? and open mid-july IIRC. I could be wrong on exacts...but definitely moving to downtown bryan
There's a new nail place next to Fuzzy's. I wasn't able to catch the name or details on the banner, however.
Went to Tony Roma's for first time last night ay 6:15 and it wasn't very busy at all. It's location is going to make it tough to draw a student crowd. I got the steak and mushroom flat bread which was excellent but I nearly choked at the prices
I went to Tony Roma's for lunch today. I got the lunch portion of the Chicken Caprese Linguini and ice tea. The pasta and sauce were fairly good. The chicken breast was a little over done (dry). Granted, since the breast was thin, it would have been difficult to get it done w/o it drying out. However, there was very little if any seasoning on the chicken.
I'll go back again, but I'll be careful what I order. The prices looked a little high. Total damage for lunch, including tax was 10.25. Meal was $7 but the tea was $2.50. There should be a law against that!

Azure restaurant opened today next to Luigi's. Another sushi bar with a bigger menu.

Even money that if Tony Romas had been built in south College Station that there would be many threads singing the many praises of Tony Romas. Also, how Tony Romas is the best thing to happen since Al Gore's grandfather invented pants...

National Office supply chain that is already in this market signed a new lease and are moving into the large space next to specs... This is confirmed as of this am.

Ditto to Tailgate88. I still can't believe that Marble Falls pop. 4000 has 2 Thai food places and B/CS doesn't have one. I need a place to get my Thai food fix!

I ate at the in and out in Conroe. They said they are coming to Bryan. I didn't think it was much different than Stovers. Add the sause and it was almost identical. Good eats for sure.

Are you sure you didn't eat at the Five Guys in Conroe? To date, I thought the only Texas locations for IN n Out were in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. The In n Out website only reflects the locations in North Texas.

The only In and Out Burger locations are in N. Texas.

Azure fusion bistro is not just sushi (although their sushi menu and quality is fantastic). REALLY good food.
Kris Keeler (used to be 2nd chef at Veritas) has some phenomenal stuff on the menu. Went last week and the entire 6 person party was impressed - ordering lobster risotto, korean short ribs, ginger/soy glazed salmon, etc.
Very much worth a stop. Reasonable prices.
