knew a guy getting some pay back and he laid a fish up on his buddies spare tire.....no matter how many times he went though the car wash the smell remained and went weeks before he ever came clean and told him where to look

Bump it up a notch and zip tie the fish on top of the catalytic converter.

Write his cell number in public bathrooms or porta-crappers with the message "I have a poop fetish. Send me pics of your fresh dumps."

Go to his pantry. Take the labels off of every one of his canned goods.

Get a label maker & put a label on EVERYTHING in his house.

Door knobs
Door hinges
Light switches

Fridge.....Everything. If he has a son with a lot of energy, give the label maker to him & tell him to keep going.

I put an add on Craig's list to rehome a goat for a buddy. He got 100 calls in a weekend.

If you go into iphone settings > Accessibility > Audio Visual you can change the stereo settings to only play out of the left or right speaker of whatever the phone is connected to.

Did it to a buddy and he thought his car speaker was out on the drivers side. He ended up tearing his whole system apart trying to fix it.

Along the same lines, change the language of his phone to chinese or something not English or spanish. Won't put him out of commission, but will be a real pita to get it back to right, and that is the right level of a prank. No property damage, little to no cost to get things back in order, and no missed work.

Large zip-tie around the truck or car axle - every time he drives, he's going to hear the noise of it slapping against the frame. It's harmless, but annoying as all get out.

There is very likely a personality disorder at play here. The pranks are a way to either reinforce being the center of attention or an outlet for regulating some intense internal emotions/turmoil like self-cutting is a way for some people to get relief.

The pranking really sounds like a symptom of something larger. Like how promiscuous women have BPD or are bipolar. Same thing. Just be glad the BIL isn't acting like THAT (well, that you know of).

Turning the behavior around on him might be something he can stifle once, but repeated prank warring has a high likelihood of pushing an emotionally unstable attention seeker over the edge.

Deck his house out in LSU theme for the crawfish broil. Get LSU stickers and put on his bumper, LSU banners, T-shirts thrown in the corner as if worn, some framed photos of LSU players (Harold Perkins would be perfect) and even fake a signed personal message.

Put a few crawdads in his shower curtain rod, and put it back up. After a few days, it'll start to smell nice and fishy. He'll spend a good while trying to find the source and never think to look there.

Get someone to do an "Amazon" delivery during the party. Get a medium size box and write "1 dozen manual sex toys" on all sides. Have the fake delivery get there when the party is inside.

I sent some m/c parts to a buddy at his workplace and did the box that way. It's been 5 years or so and his coworkers still carry on with it.

He pranked another friend while we were on a ride in Arkansas. The other guy was really proud of his western hat and wore it everywhere. Roland got an extra key to the other guy's room while he was out riding. Roland went to his room, stripped naked, and took a pic of the hat hanging on his dong. He stood in front of the mirror with both hands holding the phone and the hat hanging in front. The other guy burned the hat, and to this day will not wear one again. Roland waited til we were at dinner and the other guy had the hat on and sent the pic to the whole group. Still laugh about it.

This could end up being one of my favorite threads. Pranking folks is a lot of fun as long as the target appreciates them and is a willing participant. To an earlier poster, no I don't think I have any mental health issues going on either I just like to laugh. Life is short, make it fun.

I wish more of my people would participate cause there's a lot of great ideas here. I do limit pranks to those not costing the "victim" anything.

If he has an iPhone, you can go into Shortcuts and change the sound the phone makes when he plugs a charger into it or sets it on a charger.

I did this to my mom's phone so instead of the "dong" or whatever default sound it makes, I had Siri (you can alter the voice and speed) to say "oh yeah, put it in me big daddy."

You can make his say something like "Oh yeah, give me that half inch" when he plugs it in and then have it say "I've had better" when the takes it off the charger.

If you can gain access to his computer, change all of the system sound settings, and I mean ALL of them to random porn sounds. I did this to a buddy once and used a 60-second "lesbian orgy" sound file as his startup sound and turned his speaker volume all the way up. He was discovering sounds I had changed as long as a year after I did it.

If you're looking for quick and easy, just crack open a can of tuna and put it inside the air return.

Rubber copperhead snake on the floorboard of his vehicle. Tie a black thread to the head of the snake and to the door so that when he opens it comes towards him. Did this yesterday to a friend and it was priceless!!
