Looks like a nice quiet place. Can't wait to eventually get out there myself.
For any of y'all that are working on outfitting a rig and looking at skid plates, take a look at Talon's Garage (
Talon's Garage). They are based in NW houston and build all their plates in Houston. I have a full set on my 4runner that I got after they used it as the guinea pig to check the fit on all their plates against the KDSS suspension. Shaun used to fly blackhawks and he and his wife are both licensed nurses now that have turned their side gig making catalytic converter shields into a full time business now.
I was just down there this weekend letting them use my 3rd gen Tacoma as the guinea pig for a new fuel tank skid, an upgraded transfer case skid, and A-arm skids. Really well made plates in Aluminum or Steel (I have the aluminum) and they are putting a lot of thought and effort into the proper construction and fit.
They are also in the early stages of working on bed racks and sliders as well, but those are probably a little ways further down the road.
