Anybody been to Revelstoke in BC?

So I misspoke. Was looking at flying into Spokane. Curious about drive to sandpoint from there. Guess that eliminates the pass you referenced. Not sure what I saw saying sandpoint was one of the better locations to view lights.

We got almost 2 ft the last 2 days.
Kind of wish I was doing Thanksgiving in Steamboat this year. Hard to get great skiing in November. Plus it would just be locals. Nobody schedules a ski vacation for November.Hoyt Ag said:
The guys that work for me live in Steamboat and said it is between a foot and 18in the last 48hrs.
Meeker got 10, Hayden 12-14
Don't tell me that, we just threw down hard on Spring Break for this upcoming year.Bayou City said:
Also, when we get hit this early with heavy snow it's usually a bad omen for Spring skiing. When the faucet open s in Oct/Nov it usually cuts mid/late feb. Usually, The best seasons are those where the first big rollers hit Mid December and contine through New Years then push back in late Jan and then roll into Presidents Day with a week or two space before march hits wet and heavy.

How wide ya looking to go? Faction Prodigy 3.0 would be way up on my list. It's a killer all mountain power cut. If you're wanting something wider w more flex id say the Bent Chetler 110s.
Both of those have a mid level price point new so you should be able to pickup a 1-2 year old demo for a solid deal. Probs will have better luck finding used Bents over Prodigys just because It's a more popular rental ski.
If you're on the Kendos you probs want to stay with something w less flex but less flex on powder can be alot of work.
Another option at a higher price point would be the Black Crows Atris. And another option that rides similar to the Kendos but a wider waist would be the Faction Mana 3.0.
The prodigy and mana are going to have a higher speed limit than the Bents. The Bents love to float but don't like to speed. The chatter hard if you straight line.

Any good deals coming out on a helmet and ski equipment bag (airline friendly)? Suggestions welcome.
My son bought skis/boots and figured I would give him something for Christmas. He will probably only use 2-3 trips per year.

DB Bag is great. Dakine is another great choice.
