Sitting in a tower stand when it is below 40 degrees, the sun is breaking the horizon, my kodi is full of coffee, and the only sound is wind blowing through mesquite and cedar trees. That is my happy place.

2. Good Czech style sausage wrapped in a tortilla

3. A good thick usda prime ribeye cooked over mesquite coals

4. Black coffee in the morning solo w/out said kids!

5. The feeling when the weld, wood joint or plumbing repair or whatever project you're working on comes together and doesn't leak, wobble, or look bad!

Sitting with my wife (of 50 years) enjoying the quiet morning drinking coffee and talking about anything and everything.

Thinking back to when my son hit his first home run in LL and started on the O line for the A&M Consolidated state championship team and later graduating from the law enforcement academy and then TAMU..

My granddaughter (class of 21) graduating from TAMU.

Timing a brisket or other smoked meat just right for dinner time.
