I don't get to do this anymore but watching the green flag drop as I come out of turn 4 and hearing all of the cars engines including mine come to life as we all make a mad dash back to turn 1 for the first lap of a race.

Usually a huge lump of anxiety in my chest that suddenly comes free once we are able to finally let loose and race.

I have raced Abilene though. My Dads raced there way more than me. We came along too late for San Angelo. We were running asphalt tracks during that time.

When your count matches the other persons count on a 100+ head pen of cattle.
Putting you hand down on the neck of a cowy horse and letting it do it's thing.
Laying down a good sliding stop on a horse.
Calling in a predator using only hand calls.
An ice cold Coors Original after a good days work while watching a panhandle sunset.

Early morning walks with the dogs on my property. Towards the end of the walk, the little one attacks the fat one. The fat one is always exhausted. I don't know why, but it always cracks me up. It's like the little one gets mad the fat one is worn out.

For me its not finishing last in an iRacing race lol
