2015 JH Outlaw 230x. Has around 200 hours on the engine. The motor reads 200hp, but I had the ECU flashed to 309hp and no change to the rev limiter. Runs about 52mph and would probably go higher with a different prop. K-Top is removable. 9" Garmin GPS and Minn Kota Ulterra 112lb trolling motor. Everything works well. Only selling because I'm going to get a 90K boat so the OB has someone to complain about
This has potential. What is your timeframe on selling it? We were thinking about a quadrahedral design but could potentially be interested.

I'm cheap so I'm starting small to see where I want to end up. East Matty has been the target area so far.

'87 Whaler Striper - $6,200.00
(need to give my new knees as old back a break)
90HP Yamaha 2S (40 mph without the top), 9" draft, keel guard, vhf, (2) 5" Lowrance units [one for GPS, the other for sonar - $50 investment], trolling motor w/spot lock, top (when needed)…

Easy to launch, drive, beach, pick back up. We can run all day on less than $70 in gas and oil… great for two adults, good for three, not fishing four

Fishing 2-3X/month and still under $8k total expenditures (fishing stats, true accounting totals will vary). Will keep using this rig for exploring the area while deciding on the next boat purchase. Was really pleased with how well the boat performed heading into a 2 1/2' chop @30 mph across the bay.

First pic - my son catching bait inside the pipeline on East Matty - great place just down from the cut - you could probably do just as well hitting the grass north of the cut and avoid the pipeline, second… East Matty south end somewhere - fished the duck ponds where the reds were simply hammering the bait (still learning the area)

Edited above - realized that my dumba$$ ADD kicked in and I didn't give any real fishing information.

If fishing Galveston East Bay - there is a small reef(Richards) just up from the old washed up barge… always held fish when Hannas was dead.

If you are kayaking or wading… you can park on my lot for water access. The neighbors think it's their property anyway …so I'm going to turn it into a parking lot giving anyone that wants near shore access a place to park (still getting that set up)

Be sure to tell anyone that asks that you have my permission - just be a good OB member and leave it cleaner than you found it

I had the time, I'd be actively trying to sell now. I'm in NB and Boat is in Corpus so it's just going to be a matter of when I can commit. I'll probably test the waters on here first. I'm also debating dragging it to Sport Marine or Gulf Coast Marine and consigning it.

I'm in a similar position to OP and got relocated down to Corpus area for work (live in Portland). Very little experience on the water so far but want to learn so I can take the kids out when they get older (1 and 3 right now). Any recommendations for guides in the area that teach boating basics? Google searches came up with a lot of fishing guides and sailboat instructors. I did the TPWD boating course but online training only goes so far and I don't want to skimp on water safety.

Man I talked to Waypoint about consignment on my boat and they had a ton of fees. Was rediculous how much they were going to parasitize off the sale. Bought condo down near you so decided to keep it for now.

It sounds like this mapping tool is pretty great… can you still see all of the depth contours that are on the normal chart function? (not the depth finder) I have a Simrad GO on my sled and could see this being useful. Also, I wonder if it works with reef recon? I have that sd card providing an overlay of the reefs… don't wanna lose that.
