Seriously, wtf is going on here? No body, no leads, no nothing apparently.
His missing person website is full of daily prayers and Bible verses. Nothing wrong with that but no, "Jason please come home" or reward offered for tips on where he might be. Does anyone think he really left San Marcos for a month with just the clothes he was wearing in cold weather? He even took his pet fish. The dispatch recordingf4om that night included that the wrecked vehicle found smelled of mj and call ins that the roads LE drove didn't see him
He is working in the garden, painting and doing the jobs of the last person who joined the goofy cult of pot smokers. When he get's tired of being gone he will return.

There is a reward, from what I've seen I guess maybe the family has hired some private help also, there are tons of signs out in the area and the number posted isn't for the sheriffs office. They've talked to folks in town and said there's a reward for anything that leads to them just finding out what happened.
I've not seen the reward in other stuff I've seen.

This is shaping up to be a nice piece for Krakauer to write about ala the Outside Chris McCandless story that eventually became Into the Wild. Kid probably wanted some seclusion from the insanity that is this world, but then will realize his own insanity and return. I guess that's a best case scenario.

Any matches are the first priority. After that, investigate every number that was anywhere along his route during that time period.

The reward is interesting as it comes now, some 5 months after the time he went missing. I'm not familiar with reward offers, but I also think it's interesting that there are so many specifics and stipulations published with the reward offer.
