giving away everything you have, disappearing, and starving to death in a bus. That's not escaping insanity. It is insanity.I Drink Your Milkshake said:
This is shaping up to be a nice piece for Krakauer to write about ala the Outside Chris McCandless story that eventually became Into the Wild. Kid probably wanted some seclusion from the insanity that is this world, but then will realize his own insanity and return. I guess that's a best case scenario.

This will provide answers, and if not, certainly more leads to follow-up on.
"Copeland and Kent Landry are now hoping investigators can get that answer with a geofence warrant. Which Copeland explained "is basically a box around the vehicle accident and we can ask, 'tell us what other cell phones were in that area at that time?'" "
The investigators need to get the last 6 months of Jason's call detail records. Everyone he called and texted. The owner of each of those numbers should be contacted and questioned.
The geo fence warrant should start at least 1 hour before he stopped using WAZE. Every number from the last 6 months of call detail records should be compared to the geo fence results. Any matches are the first priority. After that, investigate every number that was anywhere along his route during that time period.
The reward aspect of this case is very interesting.
To be fair, they may have already gotten the call detail records and are now working on phase two with the geo fencing warrant. Hard to tell as there seems to be so little communication from the investigation.average_joker said:Kinda stupid they didn't lead with thisCSTXAg92 said:
