Typical Texas weather. Round Rock is what 45 miles south and got maybe a third of an inch.

Quoting myself expected rain was 30% and we got pounded all day. Good 2+ inches

Serious rain dump in Comal county today. Came down in buckets with hail.
I drove thru that today on I-35. Never driven in heavier rain. Shoulda pulled over, but needed to get to Austin.
Was there a tornado in eastern Hays/Comal around 1:30-2 pm?

Yeah there was a tornado warning for Hays county. Don't know if one dropped down and did damage.

And yes - that rain storm in Comal was the hardest rain I've seen. My yard has needed some water directing help for a while, and today it showed up ugly. Utility room with an inch of water. Sweet.

The training stayed about 50 miles North yesterday and last night, we got nothing until about 8:00 AM.
About 1.5 today.
It's been dry here, we needed it.

I was well aware of it- kept getting warnings on my phone as I was approaching it! Felt like I should pull over, but pressed on. But it crossed my mind that perhaps I shouldn't.

All the exits and service roads between the outlet malls and the north side of San Marcos were jammed with traffic, at a standstill. And a lot of fire trucks and emergency vehicles.

My parents live in south Hays County and picked up over 10" of rain with more coming down when I talked to them. Water was about as bad as it was in the 1981 flood so that's tied for the worst they've gotten. No hail at least, that was all a couple of miles away.

3.5 inches in Portland this morning. As Kenneth wrote, it needs to fall a few more miles to the Northwest so Choke Canyon can get some.
i try to keep up with everything along the frio and it seems like all of this missed all the major areas again. 2007 was the last time she was actually full so we are due according to history.

Still plenty of standing water here. It can pass right over me and dump on you, we will both be happy.
You still above sea level, mang?

The levels got lowered. 41' forecasted in Richmond now. Still 119' in San Felipe, which is still worrisome.

Big storm in the Panhandle. Large tornado on the ground north west of Dimmit. If you have access to radar and storm chasing sites, it's a heck of a storm.

Really good rain across the ranch overnight. We've had some good rain this year to keep the habitat nice a green. Between the rain and the roller chopping that was done this past year there should be plenty of protein filled forage for the deer herd

Started raining last night at midnight. Hasn't stopped yet. Danbury is just about flooded out - last I checked they had 10+ inches of rain overnight. My drive to Texas City this morning was brutal - felt like I was driving down to Venice there was so much water covering the landscape.

We had a bunch overnight and into this morning.

Probably at least 4-5 inches. (Richmond-Fulshear area).

Pool is full and almost overflowing.

Amazing how 2-3 weeks ago they predict Armageddon in Houston and it barely rains. They don't say anything this week and it rains nearly a foot in places.
