The models have fluctuated widely the past few days for the Central Texas area.
"Expect anywhere from 0.5 to 7.0 inches" doesn't really inspire confidence.

Really heavy or prolonged rain over an areas that just burned is no bueno. Flash floods and mud are a potential huge issue.

Take 281 south to Johnson City and then west on 290 to Fredericksburg and you'll be fine.

The current forecast models are indicating the Fredericksburg/Llano/Mason/San Saba area to receive up to 11+ inches of rain from Friday to Sunday.

If you don't have to travel it may be best to stay at home this weekend

Our duck lease is in Neiderwald (Hays County). We had 14 inches in 36 hours at the lease. We had been in a drought for 2 years. The pond went from a literal mud hole to the Gulf of Mexico the week before duck season.

Was planning on making the drive from Arlington to Magnolia Saturday morning...probably not gonna happen now. Either flooding or wrecks are gonna be a factor so it's not worth it to me.

Our neighbors are transplants from that flood. They lost their car and a lot of stuff inside their house.

Just looked at my gauge & seems we got about 2 inches in Parker Co so far. Wouldn't be surprised if it was more since my horse's feed bucket was full & our pool level went up a lot for 1 day.

The goats are not enjoying the rain.

Looks like Fisher got hammered over night & this am. Going to be a lot of red mud. Still have some oil interest between Sylvester and McCaulley- some kin east of Roby, so I check in on weather time to time.
