Looks like our better chances for rain accumulation haven't arrived yet.
We've had over 24 hrs of training, but it has been little more than a mist thus far.

2.4" in El Campo. Wind blew front awning off a convenient store. Knocked a 100 year old tree down at Wharton Jr High School. A couple telephone poles are leaning. Glad the wind has slacked off. Mighty rough this morning.

Right at 3" of rain in Needville this morning. Wife said it got pretty loud- we had a tornado touch down not far from the house.

No issues at the house just a bunch of water in my pool ( that is in the construction phase and about 2 weeks away from actually needing water)

We took shelter in the closet here in Kyle around 11:45. Lots of shifting winds outside. We were in the danger zone for a good 20 min before it moved off. Always a rush, but happy it's all clear.

That was bad! Started about 1:20. Heard a huge crash, woke me up. Outside of Franklin in Robertson County. Wind gusts of 50+. Whole house was shaking.

Can't confirm a tornado, yet, but wouldn't be surprised if one touched down out near here.

Got the tornado warning alert on my phone at 12:25 in Hutto. Worst had already past, the warning was for Taylor. Don't know if it went right over us or touched down right after.

I am tired of the rain. Would make me happy to go a month or two without getting a deluge. Yesterday we got pounded - guessing 3" (rain gauge was full and overflowing by the end of the day, but it started with some water in it already - just don't know how much)
