I'm back on Project Zomboid. They just had a huge update to build 42 which brought a ton of changes. I'm having fun trying to find new ways to survive the zombie apocalypse. I'll likely be doing that until Civ 7 drops.

I had been playing of lot of shooters like WZ and Tarkov in years past but I think I'm just burnt out on those genres.

I love the idea of this game and have massive respect for the creators. The sheer depth of that game is pretty amazing.

It's just overwhelming the couple of times I've started it.

I picked up BGIII and the Uncharted Thieves collection. Never played the latter.

Been waiting on my new rig to get here to play BGIII. Supposed to get it today or tomorrow.

Just finished the tutorial dungeon on Dungeons of Eternity for Quest 3 and I can see myself really enjoying that depending on finding people to play with. Great concept and gameplay is pretty fun. Throwing axe is by far my best weapon so far.

I started playing Manor Lords on Xbox Game pass the other day and I haven't played a building RTS in some time and it's really good.

I've had to start over a few times due to mistakes while learning how it works because the tutorial tool tips aren't always the best, but its fun

My kid got this for Christmas because two of his friends dad's said it would be cool to get it for all 3 and he is having a blast.

He even used some of his meta quest $ he got for Christmas to gift it to a friend of his who got a quest 3s for Christmas but only had the free games so he could play with them. Pretty nice for a 10 year old. I was a little proud.

More manageable with a small group. Never really got too far into the game, last time I was playing with terk I was able to get a car running. Learning to drive in the apocalypse is nerve wracking.

The best DLC ever. I'll get around to playing it again before Witcher 4 but Dungeons of Eternity and Hogwarts taking all my game time.

I gotta say playing Hogwarts with virtual desktop with quest 3 is amazing. Virtual desktop has come a long way over the years.

Just finished Tears of the Kingdom. The last sequence of the game was awesome. They knocked that out of the park. Fighting your way down to Ganondorf and then the epic showdown with him. It was great. His dragon form wasn't difficult, but fighting him up in the night sky with that massive blood moon looked really cool. The music track when you fight the demon kings army is sick. Probably the best track in the entire game.

I enjoyed this game a lot, but I would say Breath of the Wild is my favorite between the two. I liked the more tragic story in BOTW. TOTK definitely has some cool stuff like the depths, sky islands, and new mini bosses like the gloom hands and gleeoks. It was a great game, but for me there was just something special about BOTW.

One of my kids gave me Star Wars: Outlaws for PS5 and I'm loving it. It's like Uncharted but in Star Wars. As an older gamer, these days I don't have a lot of patience for deep games and usually play sports games or COD but this game is a lot of fun.

I need to go back and finish TOTK. I didnt get very far because I did a BOTW and Master playthrough too close to ToTK, so I just kind of fizzled out.

Glad to hear. I saw a bunch of goofy visual stuff online, but you never know if that's just nitpicked by haters. When it came out I was knee deep in From Software games, might check it out as my next game.

Back on Skyrim after a couple years in between since my last playthrough.

Proud to say, I have finally committed to a non-stealth archer build for the first time in I don't know how long. Enjoying my dual wielding Orc thus far.

Been hitting Lies of P hard the past few weeks. Absolutely excellent game. Almost done with my 4th time through. Love souls games and this one is the best non-fromsoft game so far.

Agreed. I've beaten every Souls game (for some odd reason haven't gotten around to Elden Ring yet), and I played through Lies of P because it was a free Gamepass game a while back.

I really liked it. Some very different mechanics which made the combat different from Souls. The final boss was ridiculously hard and I had to look up some videos to find out how to cheese him.

ER is the best game of all time for me. But Lies is so easy to pickup and have a good time souls-style.

Liked Lies of P, but to me, the gold standard of combat is Sekiro. Every other game's combat feels clunky after you get gud at that game. I think ER is a better game than either though.

Currently finally finishing Ghost of Tsushima. Started it over 2 years ago and burned out (OCD and 100% these massive open world games). Also started replaying Tomb Raider (2013). Really want to get the new Indiana Jones game
