I would say there are two options.
1. Keep it at heisman and adjust the sliders. I agree about the catching and blocking on pass and or run. Frustrating.
2. Keep the sliders the same as they are now and go to all-American.
I do agree that all-American is very easy. I have played this game on all-American for 7 years before the past few weeks. Looking back there was zero challenge in that.

My vote ( I am easy); keep it at heisman but adjust the sliders some. Especially the line play, catching. Just my two cents.

Last thing. I have enjoyed doing this. I appreciate all the work that went into this.

Some background on sliders.
Passing: Goal was to have receivers drop passes and qbs miss throws like they would in real life. Sometimes the drops come in wide open situations but usually it's in a crowd or being hit. Sometimes the passes are way overthrown but statistically at the end of the game, the completion percentages are more realistic.

On the running side, these sliders usually reward commitment to the ground game. The RB ability is lower which makes him slower at the start of games but get into a "groove" as the game goes on. I will go 8-10 carries and have an average somewhere in the 3-4ypc with several 0yd runs. But your line and back will get better as the game goes on and I will end in the 6.5-8ypc range. I also lowered cpu tackling some to counterbalance this and you should break a few tackles that dont happen on the regular rating.

I'll bump run and pass game a little and see where that gets us. Most of us have been playing teams at or above our team ratings so they realistically should be a little better.

I was wondering if the CPU CB catching can be adjusted. I've had teams grabbing insane one handed interceptions as they come off one WR on to another. CB are making better catches than my star WR.

I've bumped QB accuracy by 10, run blocking by 5 and reduced pass coverage by 5. Let's see how this works out for 1-2 weeks.

Not trying to be harsh, but after this week I think we need to throw out results from restarted games unless the game has frozen or theres some other situation that occurs.

Just waiting on TCU to play and we will be on to Week 4. It'll be a monster Big Ten week cross-division Week with user games between Minnesota vs Missouri and Iowa vs Washington State.

The sliders I used are from that website and the group that does all that research/testing. They had a post a while back where they laid out several different difficulty levels. That's what I based these sliders from with a few tweaks.

Ah okay, gotcha. I haven't had an issue with anything yet other than tackling Etienne, but that may just be because he's one of the best players in the game.

Missouri moves to #14 from #15.
Iowa drops out after a 2nd straight loss falling to 1-2.
Texas Tech is ranked #26 and Baylor is ranked #29.

Badie will drop out and doesn't have a chance to win as he will miss multiple weeks with an injury.

WSU (1-2) at Iowa (1-2). Both teams struggle through out of conference but get a chance at a clean start in conference play with a win in this user matchup. This game will be a strength vs strength matchup with WSU having the #1 passing attack and Iowa bringing the #7 passing defense. Both teams have been turnover prone so far.

Missouri (2-0) at Minnesota (1-1). Missouri brings in the top yardage and scoring offense in the country and Minnesota's defense is rated just #90 but most of Missouri's production has come from Tyler Badie who will miss this game with an injury. Minnesota does have an advantage in the passing game with their #21 passing attack going against the #97 passing defense of Missouri.

The big non user game this week is a top 5 matchup between#5 UCF at #2 OU. Both teams can score and put an emphasis on the ground game. Big game for the heisman hopeful QB Brandon Wimbush.

Baylor 14 Virginia 7

The bears have continued the season with a third consecutive win and 2nd on the road. With a putrid offensive performance from the bears that included 2 costly interceptions ( one pick 6) and several plays for loss, the defense once again had to rise to the occasion and save the day with three sacks, on interception, and 2 turnover on downs.
Next week the bears will have a huge recruiting weekend when they host Georgia at home. At this point the Bears hope to have cracked the top 25.

This week the UCF Knights travelled to Norman to battle it out with the 2nd ranked Sooners. It's been a tough early season schedule with 2 top 5 matchups already, but with challenge comes opportunity!

Turnovers plagued the Knights early, forcing the defense to step up and hold Jalen Hurts and the high flying Sooners to 1 yard of total offense in the first quarter. The 2nd quarter wasn't much more exciting as the knights finally scored the first points of the game with :05 seconds before the half.

Offenses started to click in the 2nd half as UCF proceeded to pull away scoring on 4 of their next 5 possessions, and slowed down the sooners just enough to get a few lucky stops. Brandon Wimbush was easily the player of the game with 288 yards of offense and 5 total TDs. The Knights defense continues to shine holding Oklahoma to 194 total yards of offense and -2 rushing yards.

Missouri and Minnesota faced off last night. Minnesota got the ball first and raced down the field in 3 plays to get inside the red zone but had to settle for a fg after 3 attempts inside the 5 yard line. Missouri used up the rest of the first quarter on a long drive, taking the lead 7-3 early in the 2nd qtr.

Minnesota fumbled on the ensuing drive which led to a quick 2 play td drive to extend the lead for Missouri (14-3), who would eventually take a 21-10 lead into half after Minnesota threw an interception in the back of the endzone late in the 2nd quarter.

Minnesota would again be plagued by turnovers, throwing 2 more in the second half, letting Missouri slowly pull away. The game felt a lot closer than the final score indicated. Missouri took advantage of good field position and dominated the TOP (16-8) to come away with a 38-10 win.

Sometimes custom playbooks or the add-on uniform packs can cause an issue when loading the game. If you have either of those you can try deleting them and using standard.

We are advanced to week 5

Unfortunately we've had trouble in two user games that have forced them to play offline. Not the same as playing with your team and rosters but at least there was a user game. We can leave these decisions up to the two users on how to handle when this happens.

On to the results...

UCF stomps OU on the road and jumps 3 spots in the coaches poll to #2 and is ranked #1 in the country in the first release of the media poll. They'll be on bye this week.

Missouri defeats Minnesota and moves to #13 in the coaches poll and #8 in the media. They're still missing star running back Tyler Badie who will sit out against Penn State but expected to be back in 2 weeks for the showdown against UCF

Texas Tech is now in the top 25 in the coaches poll. No other user is ranked right now but Baylor is receiving votes.

We have 1 user game this week with Minnesota vs Texas Tech. Texas Tech brings the nations top scoring offense into the game with an explosive air attack. If Minnesota can keep the turnovers down they should be able to hang in this one.

Baylor faces #12Georgia and with a win, should vault into the top 25.

WSU looks to get back on track against NW.

Iowa gets a regroup week against FCS Midwest.

#13 Georgia falls to Baylor 30-6

Huge weekend on the Brazos. Baylor had 12 recruits on campus to see Baylor beat down Georgia. The Bears defense held Georgia to 13 yards rushing for the game and contained Jake From to 108 yards passing in garbage time. The Bears defense got to From twice and racked up 4 tackles for loss on the day. Quarterback Charlie Brewer was 10-12 passing on the day for 111 yards passing with 84 yards rushing. Baylor out gained Georgia 315 yards to 121 yards for the day.

We are advanced into Week 6. A look back at Week 5:
Our user game saw Tech vs Minnesota in a game that went to the last seconds. Minnesota scores first with a 90 yard pic 6 and jumped out to a 7-0 lead and take a 10-3 lead into half. But for the 2nd time in 2 weeks, Minnesota was shut out in the 2nd half and fell 13-10 on a 38yd FG in the final seconds of the game. With this win Tech moves to #22 in the country.

Missouri sits at #11 following a 48-24 victory over Penn State benefiting from 450yds through the air.

UCF remains #2 following a bye week.

Washington State routes Northwestern 59-17 throwing for 670 yards, 8 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.

Iowa thumps FCS MW 54-10, also having a big day through the air with 519yds 4 tds and 5 interceptions

Baylor takes to the ground against Georgia, rushing 40x for 204 yards in a dominating win, 30-6. Even more impressive was the TOP, where Baylor held the ball for over 18 of the 24 minutes. Baylor jumps to #19.


We have a slow Week 6. 3 teams are on bye week and there are no user games. Biggest game of the week will see Minnesota on the road against Ohio State.
