I was going to add that, but read that it's more placebo effect than anything for the hit box. Either way it's pretty bad to look at.
Very surprised/disappointed they haven't reverted the update with the feedback it's receiving.

I thought that was hilarious. I haven't touched regular mode since the update and only played arena solos. This is where it sucks to not have health/mats on kill in the normal mode. In events, EVERYONE is in the same lobby. In the beginning it's good gameplay, but once you get enough points you are going to be facing better and better PC players. I can usually hold my own in build battles on console lobbies, but I'm pretty much dead in the water against PC. Not to mention their aim is so much better.zip04 said:

I finally played a Floor is Lava LTM last night. It was about what I expected. Find a high point. If you haven't gotten eliminated yet, start building up and toward the circle. Everyone else will be doing the same. Shoot other player's towers out from under them before they do the same to you.
Based on what I've been reading/seeing, I don't feel as though I am missing much by not being able to play this season (out of town). It will be interesting to see if this last update causes Fortnite to die an earlier death, especially with so many people liking Apex now.
Apex came on strong and then Fortnite had the best update (7.40) they've had in a long time. Apex has dropped off and subsequently Epic takes 2 steps backwards with this garbage update. Their excuse was that gameplay was "too aggressive" and diminishing to other viable strategies (bush camping?).
Not taking away from Apex as it seems like an awesome BR game, but they had major success initially with the insane amount of money they paid to big streamers (Ninja getting $1mil) to play Apex.

Fortnite saved itself with the 7.4 update only to kill itself by reverting everything back.
I've been playing Division 2 all weekend. I logged into Fortnite last night to take care of daily challenges on BR and StW. I did my BR challenges in Team Rumble as I have no interest in solos anymore. It felt more like work than fun. I knocked out my challenges in an hour and went back to Division 2. I really miss the camaraderie we had. However, I'm finding I'm not missing the game.

Yeah i hopped on for about an hour last night to get some more points in arena solos. Don't remember the last time nobody from squads was on at that time.
I just had a major meltdown.
Playing squads with randoms. Our entire squad was left with 200 health each and only one other dude left. Win guaranteed. Nope. Each idiot random rushed one at a time as I was building a fort in the small circle. They all got knocked and finished and then the last guy ran 2 rocket launchers to take me out. He won vs 4 full health guys. I dont know how accurate this is, but when it switched to spectate him, he had 1 health left.

Everyone is eager to get that final elimination rather than playing smart as a team.
By the way... the Boom Bow is awesome.
Looks like they're bringing in the respawn mechanic with the update next Tuesday.
My family (mostly me) have been playing since Christmas. We have built up 1200 v-bucks by being diligent about playing. The kids have been bugging me about using the v-bucks to buy the next 10 tiers. I kept telling them no.
Last night my daughter was eyeballing the skins in the item shop and accidentally spends all the v-bucks we saved up on a soccer skin. They don't get to bug me about buying tiers now, and everyone is going to be forced to use the soccer skin until the next season as a reminder not to be stupid.

Rip to you then. People definitely target soccer skins more than any other skin. I've for sure noticed a difference when I use that one

Guessing you haven't used the banana skin yet....
I tried it for one game and it felt like it was blocking half my screen
Whenever I get into a fight with a banana, I just build up a little, drop down, and wait for the 3rd party. You can spot them across the map without a scope.

Ditto on that. My kids love the banana skin. I hate it because I can't see around it. Although, I will say that I thought it was clever the banana skin turns brown as the match progresses.
You can refund the skin for your v-bucks within 30 days of purchase (up to 3 times). It's somewhere in the settings.

Yes, I was aware of that. I thought about it. Even though the only thing the lost v-bucks cost me was time, I decided against asking for the refund because I wanted to reinforce the "don't be careless" concept to my kids.
I was watching SypherPK today at lunch. He set up an alternative account and started playing in the Arena. Because he was pro playing against level 0-25 players, he racked up 25+ kills. What a joke. Wasn't the whole idea to create skill based matchmaking?! That doesn't work when all the streamers (and soon the sweats) are making alternative accounts to get easy, high kill games. #revert.

The reason for that is the 10-20 minute queue times once you get above 300 points or so. I do agree about the revert though. Regardless of the health/mats on kill, people are going to thirst you for the loot that you have anyways which makes their decision look stupid. The respawn might help with it a bit though.
It's the perfect skin to just troll around in. I think I killed a group of bananas on that were doing the conga. I killed the first two and then the third banana rolls up dancing. I would've joined if I had known that
Most of what I play is Team Rumble because it is a lower stress level. I am beginning to notice a trend that if one team starts to get a sizeable lead, the team that is behind starts dropping out. Last night I started a game with 20:20. Within a couple of minutes it was 15:8 because the score was becoming a little lopsided. Eventually the match became 8:1, and no one could find the 1. He went i to hiding. The circle stopped shrinking, and the game timer eventually ran out. Final score was something like 63-25. I got around 300xp for 15 minutes of play. It was terribly stupid.
I'm doing that every time i get that skin in my random generator from now on!

Outside of the Solo Arenas, I've pretty much been doing random squads having fun with it. It's been a lot more enjoyable , and not to mention the respawn van has been really awesome. My only issue now is the low farming rate.
