They'd be fine if the turrets were removed, but there's already atvs, golf carts, hover boards, rifts, zip lines, and launch pads for mobility.
Had post this... my first squad win where my randoms died early. 27 vs me so I farmed up at Fatal then rotated to the house on the plateau with the basketball court.
I got lucky with the circle and camped in the attic as the last 7 players fought each other.
Ended up 3 vs 1 so I popped a slurp and attacked a guy running on the roof. Finished him off as his team closed in. I clipped the replay of the last 2 kills for the win... killed all 3 with a blue tactical shotty.
Couldn't believe I survived for the win and noticed I was down to 8 health after watching the replay.

Man i just do not have the patience for that. If my squad dies early in randoms, I have to just get an AR and a Pump and go rush teams

The thing I like about Fortnite is that I don't feel like I have to be good at it to enjoy it.
Sometimes I just like wearing the bush suit and picking someone off with the sniper rifle to ruin their game.

I have used two Turtle Beach headsets. I had a basic one that worked fine then upgraded to wireless which is great. It's nice not having the cord connected if you need to get up but don't want to take the headset off or carry the controller with you.

I was puckered up so tight my bung bit a button off the couch cushion. That was one of my grandpa's sayings.
I'm a terrible builder so I knew my only shot was staying hid. I just got lucky the last team was so over confident.
Have run into quite a few more monsters at the end of games, especially in duo and solo games.

There are much nicer sets to have than Turtle Beach. That said, they aren't "bad", and can actually be pretty good.

Myself wear Sennheiser Game 1 with a Hyper X amp/DSC on PS4. Yes it's corded, but it doesn't bother me the least... amazing sound with pinpoint spatial feeling.

Unvaulted squads is my favorite mode. I've missed the LMG & tactical SMG.

Had time to play 3 duo games with my son. Got the victory on the third try. I had no kills he had three. Was pretty boring but I got the new umbrella for this season
I picked up a 1 kill win solo yesterday while knocking out challenges. Almost felt bad, but like you got the new umbrella.

Still looking for my first solo win of the season!?! Seems like a lot more salty players out there. Or maybe my age is catching up to me. I had 30+ solo wins in season 7 with a K/D around 1.2. I know the season is early however in around 25 games, I have zero wins with a K/D of 0.8.

I would think a lot of casual players moved onto apex or other games and there's a high percentage of really good players. Also, I would think a ton of people are practicing for the Fortnite World Cup so everyone is a try hard it seems

I'm having issues completing the damage to vehicles challenge. No one seems to be using them anymore.
Seems like most folks are using the hover boards so that would be your best chance

I think that is what he is saying, is that finding someone on a hoverboard is hard because so few people choose to use them. I am stuck at 196/200 because for the late two days I haven't seen anyone on a hoverboard. Of course, I spend most of my time playing Team Rumble which might have something to do with it. I played a couple of rounds of Solo last night and still didn't see anyone on a vehicle.
Other issue I have is that all the Friends on our list are friends of my elementary school son, and all they want to do is Playground. I have a hard time completing the "...with a Friend" challenges.
I read somewhere to go into a big team mode and place a turret. Wait for an enemy to jump on it. I got mine from hoverboards but a turret sounds much easier sense they are all over the map.
I got mine in Team Rumble. If I was struggling I might land on the mountain next to Tilted and just grab a gun off the RV and camp until someone came to grab one of the 2 hoverboards up there.
Finally finished it by dropping on a pirate camp where someone grabbed a cannon.

Lazy Lagoon is thick with cannons. Just have to wait for someone to be stupid enough to grab one.
I have enjoyed sitting on the bluff around that lagoon and picking people off while they are in the water.

Oh, I agree they are great for that. They are hard as hell to use as a weapon though.
Love the volcanic vents/geysers too.
