I agree, and I also like the fit of the players. Lassiter and Bullock seem to be a great fit for what we need in the defensive backfield. Fisher is a great pick since he has one of the highest ceilings in this draft and we can take some time with him to build him up without the expectations of coming in and anchoring our line. Fisher is a double good pick because if he does come in and end up supplanting Howard, we can dump Howard next year and actually save money.W said:

Some think Fisher could also play inside, which would be big if he can handle guard until we need him at tackle.
Between all five of these guys, hopefully we can find a good starting five. Some luck with health would also help.

To that point, I have been wondering if DeMeco has shifted his defense into more of the traditional line with two larger clogs in the middle to prevent anyone from stepping up and then using Hunter and Will to collapse the pocket from the outside? Autry will be that athletic DT. But still need the bigger body ala Javon Kinlaw in the middle.

Couple of things I think about in these situations:
1) the Texans have a board for each team. They're looking at depth charts with an eye on vets that might get cut due to rookies selected.
2) they like the guys they have that we might not see why.
3) I'm definitely wearing H-Town blue glasses these days and I hope we don't regress.

Wouldn't be surprised if they traded them for picks next year. Belichick used to do that.
