So what happens with this game being postponed or cancelled. Just take the points they have? Unless it is played within a day or 2 I doubt they keep it open long.

As a commissioner of a league with the finals in balance, I am going to wait and see what the NFL decides. If it's a "no game" I think I'll just have to award it as is. Depends. Could always roll points from next week into this one but I hate to do that too.

I don't envy any owners or commissioners with their championships on the line being affected by this.

I'm in the ship against the commissioner, a friend of 25 years, it'll definitely be interesting what happens here.

Just wait and see what the NFL says. If they say they aren't going to make it up, go with the points that were scored tonight until the game was stopped. If they make it up later, I'm sure FFL will have a mechanism to let them continue the games.

Obviously the players health is #1, hopefully we will get good news soon. There are lots of fantasy impacts depending on if this game gets rescheduled. For week 17 and also 18 week leagues. It would be interesting to discuss all of the different scenarios, as this is a fantasy football forum, but any time it is brought up it gets shouted down.

well yeah. Imagine trying to find accommodations for the players, coaching staff, trainers, etc. at the very last minute when you already have a flight, easy decision. Plus those guys needed to go back home to their families.

It's like an hour flight, they can come back if needed.

That's where I am at. See my line up above. If i win I get $1500. If i lose I get $600. Play the game this week or just cancel it all together.

Previously they just treated them like injured players so technically the game is over.

Fanduel has a $6,000,000 first prize tournament hanging in the balance. It's going to probably end up in court, no matter what happens someone is getting screwed. Everyone is acting as if it's just a bunch of $10 work leagues being impacted. We should be able to discuss what the best way to handle this is.

What if they just gave the players their projected point totals? That's where I'm leaning.

They added back the points from last night at some point.

I wouldn't agree to that. In my league, projections are usually between 10-16points for the top players, but very frequently the scores get into the 20-30 range, and we've seen a few players get 50-60 points this season. Very small chance, but still a chance. You either have to split the pot or move the champ game to next week.

Tough situation. In our league, one team was down 19 with Burrow and Higgins (the other team was done), so there was a high likelihood the Burrow team would've won. If the game is outright cancelled or declared no contest, I think you have to talk to the championship participants and see if they're willing to split the pot. If not, I think I would just award the championship assuming Bills and Bengals players didn't score any more points. It's tough luck for those counting on those players, but I don't think it's more fair to use projections, averages, or scores from other games.

but only the points scored after the Q1 5:58 minute mark of the next game added to the points scored before that mark on the MNF game.

What about best replacement player score from available bench? Still wouldn't work for DFS, but for leagues it would beyond if only one QB or TE is owned.
