He's probably talking about the USC QB Caleb Williams. He seems like he has a lot of growing up to do.

Of course he is. That one is obvious, but he said TWO generational QBs
Disagree. I'd want nick at pro days where you'll find your day 2 and 3 guys. I doubt they haven't beat up Stroud vs. Young already and will bring them, and many other top prospects, for private workouts. Nick and Demeco should spend their time at other pro days to try to find their guys/diamonds in the rough.redag06 said:
Caserio is wrong here. Sure you don't let one thing make your decision, but he should absolutely be going to the pro days of qb, if they are planning to draft a qb.
You take the guys to dinner after the pro days you find out who they really are in their domain and if it's someone to build a franchise around, etc.
Many owners even attend these pro days with their gms when it's for a qb hungry team. Qb isn't something you just leave up to your scouts.
Pure PR bait. If the deciding factor in who to draft was really the fact that Josh Allen didnt cancel dinner plans then the Bills are luckier than they are smart.redag06 said:
This article is a good example of why pro days are important.

But hey what do I know? I do know that if caserio messes this up, he will lose his job in a few years.
You state this so confidently that I would totally buy it…if you weren't just some dude sitting on a couch criticizing an NFL GM.redag06 said:

Maybe its because the Texans have given him (and all their fans) very little to be positive about.Pahdz said:
You guys that argue Texans with redag06 are idiots, he will find the negatives in any Texans story
that article says nothing about going to his pro day.redag06 said:

Just to compare the Texans to our neighbors, since 2002 when the Texans started Houston is 4-6 in the NFL playoffs while dallas is 4-9 over the same years. If the Texans are pitiful, what are the Cowboys?

I don't get this. He's technically a free agent right?
The fact he hasn't found a team to sign him means other teams don't agree with his value either.
What makes him think any team is gonna give up assets to trade for him AND sign him for what he wants?
Quote:
Baltimore placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on its quarterback, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Tuesday, per a source.
Jackson's tag will cost the Ravens $32.416 million in 2023, and they'll have until July 17 to reach a multi-year extension with the 2019 AP NFL Most Valuable Player before that number becomes permanent.
Quote:
Jackson is still free to negotiate with other teams in free agency. Should he sign an offer sheet from another organization, Baltimore will have five days to decide to match it or bow out. The Ravens therefore run the risk of being outbid and losing their franchise piece for two first-round draft picks in return.

Weird situation

I like what Baltimore is doing with Lamar. I feel like they are letting the market set the contract instead of them overpaying based upon what Lamar wants. Too much cap space is being committed to the QB position for a lot of these clubs.
