Had a chance to digest overnight and I'm satisfied with the day 1 moves. Stingley could be the best player in the draft, I'm sure the medical staff and Caserio did their due diligence on the injury. I can't imagine they have any doubts if they took him at 3. Green is the best interior lineman in the draft, which is a position of need. I haven't seen either pick panned so far, I've heard more negative press on the Jags taking Walker at 1 than anything Houston did. I also love the value for dropping back 2 spots.
One thing it looks like we learned is that Caserio looks at need over value, at least in the first round. I'm guessing he's got not only a chart of players but also a hierarchy of needs, 1 and 2 must have been CB and OL.
There's still a lot of good players at different positions of need. Houston can still use help at edge, WR, S, RB.
I love Dean at 37, that's my hope, but he could be gone but there are plenty of options.
Edge: Arnold Ebiketie, Boye Mafe, Logan Hall (Ojabo has the most potential but the achilles injury on a guy that size worries me)
WR: Christian Watson, Skyy Moore, John Metchie (less concerned about ACL recovery), George Pickens, Alec Pierce
S: Jalen Pitre
RB: not in the second round, but on the table in the third.
Wildcards: Dean, Travis Jones, Christian Harris
