Hold my beer! Denver penalty!
Referee Alex Kemp conducted two Cowboys' games last season. Dec. 12, vs. Wash, seven penalties on Dallas and of course the playoff game 14 penalties on Dallas. Tonight we got 16 and counting against the Cowboys.

Not his biggest fan but he looked good on that drive. OL gave him no chance on the last one.
**** game all around. At least no injuries.

Yeah the TD drive was good.
I don't understand what the rationale is with either of the backup QBs is. I like the idea of having someone that could hold things together if Dak had a short term injury, but neither of these guys are that.
The only other direction that makes sense to me is taking someone who has elite athleticism or a cannon arm and lots of raw potential.
With our QB room, it feels like the plan is, "If Dak gets hurt, pray it's not too long or we are tanking."
While this is true, I am thinking more so a situation if Dak were to be hurt and would need to miss a month or something like that...but I guess that is what Dalton was supposed to be and he was trash.gigem1223 said:Zachary Klement said:gigem1223 said:Zachary Klement said:DiNucci is so bad.gigem1223 said:

Rush won us an important game last year on the road in Minnesota. In todays NFL, if your starting QB goes down you're likely screwed either way. It makes no sense to invest much in a backup unless you're planning on letting go of your starter soon.

Wow. Wydermeyer was cut today from the Bills.

This team will probably go as far as Dak takes them.

Very unfortunate, hopefully he will find his way to a practice squad. Crazy to think that at this time last year many draft analysts thought he would be the first TE off the board and a potential 1st round pick.

Damn, that's just the problem: Yes, Rush played the game of his life in beating the Vikings last year, but he will ever be rated on that lone victory. He looked crappy last year until that game and he looked crappy last night.
I'm sure if he's thrown in a game or two with Dak hurt that he'll be just fine…not.
Or, we can open up the back up qb position and see if competition gets us a better player.
But we all know that book is closed. Cooper Rush is a poor man's version of Carson Wentz. Neither play well under pressure.
