So by this "expert" rating analysis Dallas' pick rates a C with 3 of 32 teams rated higher….. yeah that sucks…..

And I will bet you anything the players selected right before and after Dallas' pick will be much better NFO players….

And I am a life long Dallas fan…..

Do the Cowboys really need a linebacker? I know their linebackers didn't play as well last year, but this wasn't a major need.

I'd also argue that the eagles made the dumbest move of the draft. They blew a 1st round pick and their cap load on AJ Brown with Burks sitting there for them to take.

Dallas normally does very well with drafting O-line guys. As a life long cowboy fan you should know this. I'm a big critic of a lot of things Dallas does but I can't fault them for going for an O-lineman with huge potential.

AJ Brown, Proven NFL talent

And it's not about the number of picks idiots it's about the quality of the talent available when you pick….

Smith may be a great player but he is a reach project……

Paying a somewhat injury prone guy, that hasn't cracked 1100 yards, top receiver money and burning a #1 pick is not smart business. Especially when your qb is jalen hurts.

Not thrilled with this pick but I went into this one expecting a trade down or the 3rd to 6th best OL. Thats what we got. They must love the round 2 and 3 options at the other positions.

Connor Williams wasn't taken in the 1st round. And as we've discussed, the Cowboys record drafting 2nd round players went through a rough patch.
