From a legal standpoint, wouldnt he be found guilty of accessory to murder at the very least. These guys are unbelievable.

Yeah, unless he came forward with combination of a plausible story of being an innocent passenger where this thing went down unexpectedly/out of his control + came forward on his own right away with all the facts he knew (seems extremely unlikely based on how this has developed), you have to get rid of him. Pronto. Not sure what evidence the cops will have to charge him as an accessory, but that is moot as far as his job with the team goes if he didn't go to the cops immediately

The Ticket (1310, KTCK) in DFW said yesterday that he was a character risk from the beginning. His problems at LSU, before his transfer were swept under the Tiger rug.

As Gus Mcrae said, "You ride with them, you hang with them"

I remember when the Chiefs cut the NFLs leading rusher, Kareem Hunt when allegations came out about his abusive behavior. Immediately.

I will give the Cowboys a bit of grace and a few days to research before cutting.

The Kareem Hunt deal was a bit different because video came out of him knocking a girl the F out and then dragging her unconscious out of an elevator.

But they need to be quick about it... he was part of a posse that killed a guy and he said nothing. Find out the facts (which his lawyer has pretty much confirmed) and be done with him.

Damien Wilson (now with the Panthers) was arrested for threatening to kill his girlfriend. I'm 99% positive he was involved in a gun related incident when he was in Dallas that he managed to weasel his way out of. Nice guy!

It's my understanding that Joseph is here participating in the voluntary offseason training/practices. Long way to go on the legal side and possible league repercussions, but it doesn't look like the Cowboys organization is looking to part ways anytime soon.

Yeah, can't say I'm thrilled... I said above to cut him and move on.

It's not going to ruin my enjoyment of the Cowboys regardless of what they do... if I applied my own moral standards to every corporation/entertainer that I supported I wouldn't be able to enjoy anything.


As a side note: I've always applauded the Cowboys for supporting guys through their issues. Josh Brent is a good example... the Cowboys still bring him in to talk with rookies about choices. But this goes beyond a bad choice. It was a series of bad choices that led to triggers being pulled, followed by a few weeks of bad choices to not contact the authorities. Can't imagine it being comfortable in the locker room.... I still say cut him!

Initially weeks ago, I was wanting Zion Johnson. After listening to some of the DFW talk show talk, Im leaning towards WR to replace Amari Cooper's departure, and a safety net if CeeDee Lamb decides to want a king's ransom next year or so on a new contract. I just think WR will have a bigger impact on the success of the team over offensive lineman. I do not think Kenyon, or Zion replacing McGovern...or Linderbaum replacing Biadasz would help us win more than a good WR would.

Yeah, it's such an offensively driven league, you almost have to look at the WR position every year. Sturm has also made the point that McCarthy's history is that he doesn't think you have to take OL early. There will be guys that can step in day one and start at LG into the 3rd round and possibly even the 4th.

I still think DE and CB are sneaky big needs and would not be surprised to go there early.

I know what you are saying but Dallas doesn't have a great track record with OL taken after the first round and an excellent track record with those that are.
