Twitter world is saying exact same deal but would be less money w/ state income tax


rumors that the Cowboys wanted to tinker with the language last minute after there was an agreement. as much positivity as the front office had built up, they lost it all here. f'ing clown show. YOu don't do that.

Come on...this is not a good take. Dallas did him wrong here. You don't tinker with the contract after it's agreed upon. That's not acting in good faith.

I'd tap the brakes. We don't know what this "tinker" even was. Could be cover bs for another change of heart, since he already had one change of heart in the process. What changed, what were the overall terms differences, etc.

I don't know what language they needed to change since he was only due 28M guaranteed. It seemed like an extremely team friendly deal that in reality was only a 2 year contract.

We know nothing about what changed.
It's widely reported by all the respected NFL folks that the Cowboys wanted to change some things in the contract after an agreement was made. That is bad business and you don't do that.

Just sounds like the same song, add another verse. Cowboys draft well and then can't negotiate a contract or the salary cap. Seems like it will be that way as long as the Jones's are in charge.
