No sweat. I'd also be curious if the trade agreements between teams have some sort of "advanced knowledge" clause whereby if a team has advanced knowledge of something relevant (i.e. injury, legal issue, etc.) and doesn't disclose or withholds from the trade partner, whether it can nullify the trade.

Even if it doesn't, Caserio would likely hold off because it'd be a huge reputational hit and likely make trades harder in the future if he makes this significant trade knowing information about Deshaun which could (possible likely) end in suspension.

Odd tactic indeed, and also how many gotdang massage therapists does one guy use? It is so weird that anyone would use 40+ different women for massages over the span of a couple of years.

I thought football was a sun-up-to-sun-down job. At least that's what every coach and QB I've ever heard likes to say. But apparently, DeShaun had all the free time in the world. Dude spent hours, it seems like daily, driving around Houston for massages.

My guess is if the Texans knew about it before it came out then any team they'd try to trade him to would've figured it out as well, if they didn't already know.

Yeah, I'm not sure saying you were appropriate with more women than you were inapproprite with does much here.

In an extreme example, Ted Bundy was probably nicer to more people he kept alive than murdered.

Am I missing something? The DW defense has already confirmed: the massages happened, he has seen a ton of different people, he deleted messages, and he asks for certain "areas" to be rubbed. Seems like a lot of information before a trial even starts.

Any thoughts from the lawyers?

The other thing that is inconsistent - Hardin has been adamant that the anonymity in the suits makes it hard to verify the masseuses (despite dates and locations), yet he was able to conjure up ~20 other masseuses to support him? You have good enough details and dates to get positive support but not enough to dispel the negative claims?

Rusty has no doubt identified most, if not all, of the plaintiffs and is likely digging into all of them as we speak. But being filed as Jane Does gives him cover to claim he doesn't know who they are and thus, can't make any statement about their claims yet.

I'm not sure either attorney did themselves any favors today.

The Texans cleared over $5.2 million in 2021 cap space by restructuring DE Shaq Lawson's contract, converting salary and a workout bonus and adding two voidable years. He's still due $8M fully guaranteed this season and $9M in 2022.

I don't understand this, you just signed the guy 2.5 weeks ago, its a good move clearing more space, but why not make that his original contract.

Only one, and she is in Toledo, Ohio. Not much demand for her services, she is missing three fingers, has toenail fungus, always has a runny nose, and doesn't bathe.

If that's true then the Texans should have let it slip to the public. They need to do any and all things to get the fan base back. Painting Watson as the guy demanding a trade then not accepting it would make him look even worse than he already has made himself.
