My health insurance increased about 20% annually for several years until kicked out and forced into Medicare.
I had private very good BCBS policy for over 30 years.

Yea, someone saying they saw no real change to how healthcare worked and was priced following Obamacare simply was not paying attention or does not have the ability to understand and discern the changes.

It's unfortunate, because as business owners you have a responsibility to watch out not just for your finances but for your employees as well.

If people want a real kick to the gonads, I am pricing out individual policies for myself, wife and son. I have some ability to manage the timing of my income so keeping that in mind, we determined pushing my income down to just above Medicaid qualifications opens up "Cadillac" plans priced very low after the subsidies kick in.

So what if we put my income at $100k? Well, the subsidies go away BUT the plans also provide less and less. BCBS and others provide BETTER plans if you make LESS money because Obama subsidies are green gravy for the health insurance companies.

Make more, spend more but get less. Because equity and such.

That scenario should piss everyone off. For me, ill manage my AGI this year down to $28k, get some housing subsidies and free groceries, and since my son is a senior next year filling out the FAFSA will be good timing as well.

To be fair health insurance has gone up whether a Republican or Democrat has been in office.

Sure, I had annual increases, but nothing like after Obama made healthcare affordable and years after according to his plan. But then most of us knew that going in, that it was never meant to work, only to drive us off the cliff.

Well Desantis was an option. And he was by far the most accomplished conservative option. But for some reason, we had to have Trump again. And people let Trump's attacks actually influence their opinion of Desantis instead of ACTUAL POLICY.

Maybe we will be lucky and he will run again.

THIS THIS THIS!

This times eleventy billion.

We never saw $2500 annual savings. Some blocked that lie. I chalk it up to their suicidal empathy.

Each America owed $40,000 plus interest and penalties. 16 y x $2,500

I'm done with it. The lack of any fiscal conservativism whatsoever, the idiotic foreign policy, the pretend (I hope) misunderstanding of trade deficits and tariffs, the entirely self-inflicted gaffes, the corruption, all of it.

I'm ready for an actual conservative to put forth a message and a vision that isn't marred by constant personal drama. I'm ready for someone who manhandles the press but isn't putting forth absolutely ******ed policy and then expecting clapping seals in response, even when he's wrong.

I'm ready for someone who isn't an octogenarian like Biden and Trump.

Can we have someone bold, who actually believes in fiscal conservatism and a no-nonsense attitude with the media at the same time? Can we have someone who is not accepting of the degenerate excesses of the TQ+ movement? Can we have someone who calls out the race-communist tactics of the far left? Can we have someone who believes in maintaining our allyships and not screwing ourselves on the international level? Can we have someone who actually gives a damn about aggressively prosecuting internal corruption and not just using it as a campaign platitude? Can we have someone who will genuinely prosecute those instrumental in the most destruction during the Covid-19 hysteria? Can we have someone who will have internal ideological consistency whatsoever?

I am sick of the drama, the 69d chutes & ladders, the corruption, the failure, and the absolute refusal by Trump (and any other leader) to give an honest explanation of why they cannot or will not do something.

Trump's second term is horrendously worse than his first. I do not like the Democrats and only vote for exceptions if ever. Trump, however, is savaging the Republican brand and needs to go. I will be glad when he's gone in 2029.

It is over. The government you voted for is in charge now.
