In 1979 or thereabouts, my brother caught a dose of the clap from a hooker in Midland.

But supposedly, that kind of stuff doesn't happen in Midland.

Interestingly enough it was at a hotel (long since torn down) that was just a couple of blocks down the road from where this shooting occurred.
