Interestingly enough it was at a hotel (long since torn down) that was just a couple of blocks down the road from where this shooting occurred.

Kind of a sandy dirt. Not very rocky. Remember it's an ancient seabed. Lots of mesquite and cactus, so right on that part.

Ha, it's from a show called "Landman". Tommy Lee Jones character paid a stripper to give his dad water massage therapy in the pool to cheer his old depressed ass up. Pretty ridiculous show at times, but also hard not to watch once you start.

It's better than watching another first responder a** show.

I recall a Midland teacher/coach getting arrested in a sting in Lubbock a couple of years ago. But I think he was at Midland High.

I went to school with a guy that wound up teaching, and also coaching girl's cross country, that got busted in a sting in Midland. They also caught him with painkillers. He was a huge dude that had been a professional wrestler at one time and had major back problems. There was speculation that he was trying to trade morphine for sex.
