If the US media was doing its job they should all be trying to interview the leadership in Iran. The US is at war with them. What they are thinking is slightly newsworthy.

Just Reading press releases is propaganda. Asking serious questions is what they should be doing.

But I'm not the slightest bit surprised to see this take from this board.

What an even keeled take… You must support Islamic extremism and hate the Jews.

Yeah. The media in this country is a joke. They aren't even trying to interview Israeli government officials or Iranian officials. Just reading press releases. A complete embarrassment.

Some people are just happy to get fed nothing but government war propaganda.

It's not so much of the proper end that's working, these people believed all of this nonsense long before Tucker became a turncoat.

The same people that want you to think Hamas is just a political group, and not terrorists.

Honest question for the Tucker defenders here:

Why should we believe anything Tucker has said about this conflict considering the evidence of his contact with Iran?

Iran's govt is literally based on American/Christian/western hatred. Why would any person (regardless of their sentiment towards Israel) think it's worth it to maintain contact with Iran?

I just can't imagine how he's doing any of this for the good of the average American at this point. Seems like it's straight out of the grifter playbook.

Why don't you stop focusing on motivation and start focusing on if what he is saying is true.

Any info on who Tucker was talking to. Just saying IRGC doesn't mean much if he was doing it in journalistic capacity.

So if I take his motivation out of it, why should I believe what he says?

I think about as highly of Israel as I do India. But I think far less of Iran, which he seems to be chummy with right now. It's not his Israel stance that bothers me, it's the Iran thing. Ya know, the people who state-sponsor global terrorism and chant "death to America"

Uh, common sense if you are talking about historical reality.

If you are talking about religious viewpoints then how about the New Testament in the Bible. I am talking about the actual Bible, not some Scofield heresy based nonsense.

For starters Israel was a person. The original nation was comprised of 12 tribes. The Hebrew people, which primarily are unaccounted for today. So the modern nation is in no way a reconstitution of the former. Which was ultimately destroyed for killing Jesus and His followers. Christianity is Gods people, the House of God, the Temple, the body of Jesus. There is not Gods people and a separate group of Gods chosen people. There is one vine who is Jesus. Jesus is Israel. Those who belong to Him, His bride are joint heirs of the promises of Abraham.

There is no exclusions written in scripture to Christians. So if your conclusion is the promises to Abraham are manifested in property in the ME one must also conclude all Christians have equal rights and claim to that land. Which is not a tenet of Christianity and is not the manifestation of the promises of Abraham. So you can't conclude the modern political state that doesnt compromise the ancient people and the people there now dont observe the ancient practices is the ancient Israel nation.

I used to be a big time dispensationalist. There's a really good thread on the religious board title who is Israel. A lot of good posters shared some really good info there if genuinely curious.

I don't think Trump did this for religious reasons but it's fascinating that sects of Christianity Islam and Judaism view this war as a means to the return of their messiah.

Tucker wasn't "interviewing the leadership in Iran". Did you see an interview released anywhere?

People are interviewing the Iranian leadership. NBC did one and I know CNN had some people in country, but the on the ground stuff I saw was heavily escorted and propagandized it seemed.

Which would be amusing (if not for the collateral human suffering), given "You shall not know the day nor the hour". Deliberate human actions towards that end wouldn't seem likely to result in the sought/desired outcome. Mortal hubris to think so, IMO.

I would qualify as a dispensationalist. I believe the Rapture of the church is near, and to keep an eye on the enhanced Abraham peace accords. If Israel is allowed to rebuild the Temple as part of the peace plan, then the tribulation is then at hand. Thanks for your viewpoint, it's appreciated.

Our leaders don't do anything for religious reasons, they're rich, not religious.

They just use religion to sell dreams and death to their peasants. Been that way since religion was invented.

Just out of curiosity can someone even commit legally defined treason if we haven't declared a war?

Another thought. Why isn't the assumption Tucker was in on it this entire time? He did "flunk" out of the farm and the get a sweet "journalist" gig project mocking cough bird cough.

There is no requirement of a declared war for a treason charge.

(But nothing suggests any treason here)

I'm going to make a prediction: we leave nato so Turkey can be on the chopping block next. The pretext to leave will be not getting enough support in this current conflict from nato nations. Turkey will become the next boogeyman.
