As for Islam and Jesus: anyone that has read CS Lewis knows his answer to this nonsense. If you were to take Islam's position of Him as a great prophet, it fails on its face. Jesus proclaimed he was the Son of God. Only four things are possible (the 4th isn't CS Lewis): 1. He was crazy. 2. He was the Devil and a liar, 3. He was the Son of God. 4. The Gospels are fake and he never proclaimed to be the Son of God and was just a prophet.

I don't think the Gospels are fake. I think they are based in good history. Further, I don't know why he'd be crucified if not for the offenses charged against him, namely blasphemy.

So I don't think the Islamists' veneration of Jesus is anything to be concerned with. I think it's a nod that semi-educated leftists like to spew.

Now having said all that, I do think it is important to separate Islamist from Muslim just as there are many people who are culturally associated with a religion that they do not practice. It is also important to point out that while many are saying that Israel got us into this war, there is considerable evidence that Trumps friend MBS played an important role having grown tired of Iran threatening their desalination plants and destabilizing trade routes.
